Acara Kick Andy di Metro TV populer karena memberikan warna lain dalam acara Talk Shows di Indonesia. Berbagai “tokoh” biasa ditampilkan yang membawa inspirasi bagi banyak orang. Ternyata ini justru yang dianggap membawa keberhasilan dalam acara ini. Orang biasa menjadi “tokoh besar” disulap oleh Kick Andy.Namun mereka memang kadang bukan orang sembarang. Kisahnya dan perjuangan orang-orang biasa ini banyak memberikan inspirasi kepada banyak pemirsanya.Gantyo Koespradono menuliskan kisah inspirasi dari Kick Andy dalam sebuah buku “Kick Andy”.Andy F Noya sendiri mengaku cukup puas dengan buku ini namun, katanya, masih banyak yang bisa digali acara Kick Andy ini.Seperti apa inspirasi yang bisa digali dari kisah-kisah yang dibukukan ini, memang tergantung dari pada pengalaman pembacanya. THE “SOON TO BE†LOSERSShould-be meltdown of “no-care-to-people†SBY-MYKBy Andi Noya and Desi AnwarEmbargoed until June 1, 2008Indonesia’s current President Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono, SBY, is a man of tragedy. He is making all daily prices hike uncontrollable in the eyes of most Indonesian people. SBY will soon be remembered for the most humiliating political meltdown in Indonesia’s modern history.SBY together with his vice president Mohammad Yusuf Kalla, MYK, from the start tried and try to buy time, they are not capable though. Indonesian students and people are most stupid that they are being deceived and nothing they act – no demonstrations that will lead to their resignation. SBY is making the national punching bag. SBY is, however, a self-inflicted wound. SBY’s political skills were never his strong suit. He obstinately and self-indulgently cling to power until he never announces his resignation. He amplifies all Indonesian people’s discontent, provoking Indonesian people to soon launch protests all over Indonesia to make him step down.It was a pathetic way. SBY will set the fuel prices hiking around 30 percent. What is striking in Indonesia now is that normally a president like the late Suharto showed some respect and sympathy for his people, but this time SBY does have that and some military generals and all mass organizations are ready to strangle him. It is their rights as SBY does not fulfill the contracts between the regime and its people that he has to make the life of Indonesian people have normal life; the recent and last price hike of daily commodities and fuel has strangle the Indonesian people and now SBY is ready to be strangled. breathed a collective sigh of good riddance. Probably the most disappointed people in Indonesia are his political opponents, who viewed him as their most effective weapon. They also have their rights to see like that as SBY and MYK are not accountable men.From the first he became Indonesian president, SBY had been governing on borrowed time. Now SBY has become heavy and unwanted baggage and his exit is and should be a matter of time if all Indonesian components act wisely, starting huge demonstrations followed by mass riots. SBY-MYK should have fallen down or stepped down. The stupid thing is that the military seem do not care to Indonesian people and Indonesian students are too stupid to be calmed down and not ready to act like their seniors before in 1997/8. They are cowards, unless they act now for the sake of ordinary Indonesian people, who had and have suffered hugely. Dumping SBY and MYK is a best way of clearing the decks, to regain the public confidence they squandered.The question is why students like Trisakti Student, UI students, UGM students do not act now? Why ought they to feel some compassion for SBY especially? Where are Amien Rais, Sri Bintang Pamungkas, Hariman Siregar, Prabowo Subianto, Wiranto, Guys Dur? Where is Nur Wahid? The later just busy to fuck his new wive? Oh, poor Indonesian people! And where are the middle and upper class people also?
